Photographer & Videographer

Charles D. Ekl

I bought "Fifty Shades of Grey" once in the hopes it would help me understand white balance – I was very wrong.
People say photographs don’t lie, mine do. There are no bad pictures; that’s just how your face looks sometimes. Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don’t have film. Photography is pretty simple stuff. You just react to what you see, and take many, many pictures. Be kind to your photographer because the power of editing is in their hands. Cheap photography isn’t good and good photography isn’t cheap. Sometimes I arrive just when God’s ready to have someone click the shutter. Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships. Photographers are the only ones who don’t get arrested for flashing people in public. It’s not the size of the lens, it’s how you use it. Do you see what I see?
